Description
The “Innovator” in-dash removal kit will allow the locksmith to disassemble and manipulate the GM lO wafer ignition without damage. The removal tool removes the plastic bezel and chrome cap. The tool steel drill guide accurately locates the drill site. The special drill and arbor are used to penetrate the front of the plug, gaining access to the sidebar. The arbor limits the drill depth preventing damage to the sidebar. The sidebar pressure tool and straight pick are used to manipulate the lock. Pick the lock to the “ACC” position for removal. Make the key. Reassemble the chrome face cap onto the plug and install the ignition. Replace the plastic bezel to complete the job. Original ignition is not damaged.
